The Power of Positive Frequency
In the high-performance world, we often talk about mindset, discipline, and grit—but there’s another dimension most people ignore: frequency.
How you operate matters just as much as what you do. And one of the most transformational shifts I’ve ever made was learning to operate in a positive frequency—a mindset grounded in purpose, fueled by internal belief, and free from the weight of proving people wrong.
The Dangerous Trap of Proving Others Wrong
I used to carry a chip on my shoulder—and not the kind that kept me grounded. It was the kind that made everything personal. If someone doubted me, I worked to make them regret it. If someone told me I couldn’t, I chased the win just to throw it back in their face.
At first glance, that kind of chip seems like fuel. But here’s the problem: it’s not sustainable. That mindset doesn’t drive growth—it drives revenge. It locks you into a cycle of ego, not evolution. And eventually, you stop playing your game and start reacting to theirs.
A Shift in Frequency
There was a time I had a dispute with a local gym owner. It lit a fire in me—but not the right kind. I found myself obsessed with showing him he was wrong, obsessed with building something just to get back at him. I thought I was building something for me, but I wasn’t. I was building it against him. And that’s when I woke up.
I asked myself, “What if I focused on proving myself right instead of proving him wrong?” That simple shift in frequency changed everything.
The moment I let go of the ego…
The moment I stopped seeking revenge…
The moment I operated from belief instead of bitterness…
The largest health and wellness company in the country acquired my brand.
That wasn’t coincidence. That was frequency.
Frequency Is Everything. Ego Is Nothing.
When your internal frequency is tuned to belief, gratitude, and purpose, the results are electric. People can feel it. Your energy becomes magnetic. Your actions become pure. Your mission becomes unstoppable.
But when your frequency is fueled by resentment, revenge, and the need to be seen, your growth becomes transactional. Conditional. Limited.
If you’re chasing greatness just to prove someone else wrong, you’re playing small.
But if you’re chasing it to prove yourself right—because you believe in who you are and what you’re building—then you’re operating on the frequency where real power lives.
Final Thought
Yes, have a chip on your shoulder. But make sure it's placed there by your passion, not your pride. Use it to build, not to battle.
Operate in a positive frequency, and you’ll find out just how powerful you can become.
Because in the end, frequency is everything. Ego is nothing.
