The Voice
After this weekend at our micro experience at Life Time Coral Gables my desire to be a winner is fueled even more.
Fueled by the very best community around. So here is my challenge to you.
Cut the noise.
Not the outside noise. The inside noise.
The voice that has been trying to get your attention for years.
The one you keep muting because it feels uncomfortable. Because it challenges you.
Because it demands something from you.
Let me be very clear.
That voice is not your enemy.
That voice is your standard.
And most people spend their entire lives running from it.
They numb it with comfort.
They bury it with routine.
They silence it with excuses.
But it does not go away.
It gets louder.
Because deep down, you know.
You know when you are playing small.
You know when you are staying in a job you hate.
You know when you are tolerating people who drain you.
You know when you are living below your capability.
And yet, you keep negotiating with it.
You tell yourself now is not the time.
You tell yourself you need more security.
You tell yourself you will figure it out later.
Later becomes never.
At some point, you have to cut the crap.
You have to stop outsourcing your life to fear.
Quit the toxic environment.
Walk away from the boss who shrinks you.
Take the risk that scares you.
Lean into the thing that makes you different.
Dare to be misunderstood.
Because the alternative is far worse.
Living a life where you look successful on the outside but feel empty on the inside.
Pretending you are fine when you know you are not.
That is not high performance.
That is slow decay.
The shift is simple but powerful.
Stop asking what if it fails.
Start asking what if it works.
What if you are actually capable of more than you have allowed yourself to believe.
What if the version of you that you keep suppressing is the one that changes everything.
What if the discomfort you are avoiding is the exact doorway to your next level.
This is where standards come in.
Not goals.
Not motivation.
Standards.
Hold yourself to a higher one.
A standard where you tell the truth to yourself.
A standard where you do not tolerate mediocrity in your own life.
A standard where you act, even when it is uncomfortable.
Because that voice inside you is not random.
It is earned.
It is built from every experience, every lesson, every win, every loss.
It is your internal compass.
And right now, it is pointing somewhere you have been afraid to go.
Listen to it.
Not next year.
Not when it is convenient.
Now.
Life is short.
Not in a motivational quote way.
In a very real, very finite, very serious way.
You do not get unlimited chances to become who you know you are capable of becoming.
So stop waiting.
Stop negotiating.
Stop pretending.
And start listening.
Because the voice you keep ignoring is the one that will change your LIFE!
